We acquired half interest in Mr LPC 167 in the summer of 2023 after he wrapped up a tremendous junior show career for Grace McCall including winning Reserve Grand Champion at the All American and Supreme Champion of the LSU show. We were very attracted to this bull as the top son of our deceased 279/7 bull. Since semen on 279 is in such low supply we loved the opportunity to purchase this son and continue to offer semen on this great sire line. 167 is a thicker made, cleaner sheathed, better colored version of 279. The dam of this female is also from the BRC program - making this bull 100% BRC pedigree top and bottom. The bottom side of this pedigree is a more maternally focused line and we love that about the bull. We see him as the natural replacement for the 279 line, in terms of producing very functional, show quality polled cattle.
